Sales Manager, France Italy Spain

Function

  • Responsible for achieving sales of Sovicell’s products and services in accordance with the annual sales plan.

  • Qualify, establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships for relevant accounts within the sales territory. These activities include lead generation, cold calling and prospecting, customer sales calls, appropriate telephone and email follow-up, and reporting.

  • Conduct professional technical presentations to multi-functional customer groups, including scientists, quality, purchasing, and others as appropriate.

  • Represent the Company at national trade shows, conventions, and other technical events.

  • Coordinate customer interactions with the Scientific Advisors and others within Sovicell.

  • Ability to travel overnight domestically and internationally ~60-80% of the time.

  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of the Company’s products and contract services.

  • Provide feedback from the market.

  • Develop key existing accounts within the region.

  • Document all customer interactions in the appropriate contact management software.

  • Participate in developing and maintaining business plans to forecast and achieve sales goals.


Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in English. Fluency in French, Italian and Spanish desirable.

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree (microbiology, biology, chemistry or biochemistry preferred).

  • Minimum three years experience in technical sales or account management.

  • Experience with products and services in the drug development industry an advantage.

  • Ability to interact with various settings/audiences.

  • High energy and self-motivated.

  • Results-oriented.

  • Ability to travel and work from a home office.

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

  • A desire to succeed.

  • Ability to identify opportunities to grow business.

  • Must be a team-player.
