Presentation of first validation data for the TRANSIL blood-to-brain absorption kit at the predictive human toxicity/ADME-Tox meeting in BrusselsThe TRANSIL blood-to-brain absorption kit can be used both to assess the ability of compounds to permeate the blood brain barrier and to predict the equilibrium distribution of compounds between blood and brain. Using a structurally rather diverse test set of drugs it is shown that the test kit’s predictions correlate strongly with in vivo data.
