Congratulations to the winner of the iPod raffle held at the ADME-Tox Europe meeting in Stockholm! His name is Dr. Markus Probst.
The TRANSIL blood-to-brain absorption kit can be used both to assess the ability of compounds to permeate the blood brain barrier and to predict the equilibrium distribution of compounds between blood and brain. Using a structurally rather diverse test set of drugs it is shown that the test kit’s predictions correlate strongly with in vivo data.
Nimbus Biotechnology brings the first ready-to-use assay kit for analyzing drug candidates ability to cross the blood brain barrier to the market.
