The numerous membrane permeability and protein binding assays that we offer are underpinned by our TRANSIL technology platform. This comprises a bead based system that mimics certain physiological conditions of the human body allowing Absorption (membrane permeability) and Distribution (protein binding) of drug candidates to be easily and reproducibly assessed.
Major pharmaceutical companies have adopted our TRANSIL technology and we are continually developing further products in collaboration with our customers to meet their needs.
The latest addition to our TRANSIL product line is our blood-to-brain absorption kit which is based on natural brain biological membranes, and is the only product of its kind that is currently available on the market.
SOVICYTE Human Cryopreserved Hepatocytes are the first product in our recently launched SOVICYTE product range which covers the different aspects of metabolic transformation, allowing detailed metabolism studies of drug candidates and other test substances as well as cytotoxicity studies.
